La Soie en Turquie

Quand les cocons sont bien ramollis dans l’eau chaude, on procède au dévidage. Le fil est trop fin pour être utilisé seul. C’est pourquoi, à l’aide d’une brindille ou d’un petit balai, on réunit les fils de plusieurs cocons différents (4 à 7, selon la finesse de chaque fil). On les accroche ensemble à un petit moulinet qui, en tournant, les enroule en torsade. Dès qu’un cocon est terminé, on ajoute le fil d’un nouveau et ainsi de suite.
